Service Description: |
Adult and continuing education centre * secondary school credit programs (grade 10 to 12) for adults, continuing education and summer school for all students * day and correspondences/self-study courses * full or part time continuous entry courses * diploma and certificate programs * educational counselling to registrants * volunteer tutors available * limited child care services

Workplace training, career preparation and prior learning assessments
Credit business and technical courses
Drivers' education program
International Languages Program
Gateway to Learning (Upgrading) - literacy, numeracy and essential skills services that help individuals achieve goals related to further education or training, employment or increased independence * support in clarifying upgrading goals and developing a training plan to achieve them
Also academic upgrading services that help individuals develop the necessary skills for entry into college-based post-secondary education and training programs (such as apprenticeship)
English as a Second Language (ESL) - ext 69674 - general and speciality classes:
Literacy ESL - for learners not literate in their first language
Language for the Retail Profession
Language for Health Care Professionals
Language for the Workplace
Language Training in the Workplace
Citizenship Preparation - offered to landed immigrants who have been living in Canada at least 2 years (test can be taken at 3 years)
Preparation for University/Professional Testing
Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program - ext 69730 - cooperative education program which includes over 300 hours of classroom theory and 300 hours of on-the-job training in agencies that employ PSWs * set fee
